My name is Laura Martín, and I’m an illustrator from Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently living in Berlin, Germany. I graduated as a graphic designer from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in editorial design and illustration.

With nearly a decade of experience in the field, I have worked extensively as a layout and editorial designer for children's books in various publishing houses in Argentina. While I primarily illustrate digitally, I always keep my papers and pencils close by for sketching to maintain a strong connection with the analog world.

My inspiration comes from very diverse sources: nostalgia, friendship, music, books, world history, personal experiences, and simple and happy moments of life. I like expressing these feelings with warm, cozy colour palettes and harmonious compositions.

I think one of the most important things when working with clients is always having the best attitude, responsibility, attention to detail, and kindness to build strong relationships.

When I’m not drawing, you can find me listening to 80s music, learning to play the piano, travelling and exploring new places, drinking coffee with friends, reading chronicles, or just spending time outdoors.
